Dear Friends, I just finished a wonderful meeting with the G4S Parent Committee. I left feeling so much love for the wonderful student families that make up Generation IV Strings. I only want what is best for you and your family and while I hope you know that you will always have my utmost support, it can still feel daunting to get that musical practice into your routine. Just know that you are not alone!
It is my hope that this forum will be a safe place for you to share your positive experiences, vent your frustrations, seek help, post videos, schedule musical get togethers, and receive updates from me. We all have each others backs and I'm honored to be apart of such an amazing community. Thank you for trusting me with your children's musical development.
The Suzuki philosophy is so much more than creating a fine musician. It is the commitment of the teacher, parent and child to develop the character of the child and the heart of the musician, and the knowledge that both are of equal importance. As Dr. Suzuki said, "To make a resolution and act accordingly is to live with hope. There may be difficulties and hardships, but not disappointment or despair if you follow the path steadily. Do not hurry. This is a fundamental rule. If you hurry and collapse or tumble down, nothing is achieved. Do not rest in your efforts; this is another fundamental rule. Without stopping, without haste, carefully taking a step at a time forward will surely get you there."
With Love, Ms. A
