MUSIC TOGETHER® MIXED AGES FAMILY CLASSES AT GENERATION IV STRINGS IN BEND, OREGON
A fun family music program for parents and children ages birth to kindergarten. Parent participation-regardless of the parent's own music ability-is essential for creating the stimulating musical environment that all children need to develop their musical intelligence. The high-quality, developmentally appropriate and researched-based curriculum engages children and parents alike.

WHAT IS MUSIC TOGETHER?
— A fun family music program for parents and children ages birth to kindergarten.
— Parent participation—regardless of the parent’s own music ability—is essential for creating the stimulating musical environment that all children need to develop their musical intelligence.
— A high quality, developmentally appropriate research-based curriculum with playful activities.
— Children participate at their own level and when they are ready. There is no performance pressure. Children are not required to sit still; rather, they are encouraged to respond spontaneously to the musical environment.
BASIC PROGRAM INFORMATION
— Weekly 40-minute classes
— Ten-week semesters (on average)
— Three semesters per year
— Mixed-age classes (ages ranging from birth to five years)
— At-home materials: songbook, CD, "Music and Your Child" a Guide for Parents and Caregivers, digital access on Family Music Zone, and the "Hello, Everybody" app where you can access all of your music, storybooks and create your own music videos.
BASIC CLASS ACTIVITIES
— Rhythmic rhymes and chants
— Creative movement—from finger plays to large-motor movement activities
—- Instrument play (The play-along jam session is a lot of fun!)

Winter Term Tuition / Fees
$195 per enrolled enrolled family and prorated after term start date.
- Additional Sibling Fee WAIVED during the pandemic.
*However, please be sure to register all participants. You will not be charged additionally for the class.

$195 per enrolled family and prorated after term start date.
— New professionally recorded CD of the semester’s songs, rhythm chants, “play along” music, and tonal and rhythm patterns. Nine collections of music, one for each semester, rotated over three years.
— Songbook with illustrations.
— Family Music Zone – each family receives a code to access Music Together’s Family Music Zone where you can download the semesters music and explore fun content.
— Music Together At Home: Helping Your Child Grow Musically.
— Assessment of Your Child’s Music Development – feedback regarding your child’s achievement of music development milestones is available from our instructors.
***The Additional siblings fee has been waived during the pandemic. However, please be sure to register all participants.
There is a one-time registration fee of $10 for all students new to Generation IV Strings. (During the pandemic, discounted to $10 per new family rather than by student.)
No tuition refunds are given after the current session begins. Once confirmed in a class, a fee of $25.00 will be deducted for withdrawals.
Registration fees are non-refundable. Opened materials cannot be refunded/returned and must be purchased.
One make-up per family per term are allowed on a space available basis. To schedule a make-up class please visit the Make Up Scheduler
Classes missed by instructor will be rescheduled or credited to each participant. Classes missed due to school closures and extreme weather conditions will not be made up.
